About Our Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry Practice in Monterey – Serving San Jose and Beyond

Dr. William Dodson, a trained prosthodontist and cosmetic dentist, has helped residents of Salinas and Monterey improve their smiles, dental health, and overall self-esteem for years with custom fitted dentures, dental implants, porcelain veneers, tooth whitening, and more. Dr. Dodson’s experience and accomplishments in cosmetic dentistry, coupled with his extensive training as a prosthodontist, make him uniquely qualified to provide both restorative and cosmetic dentistry services to patients throughout the Monterey Bay and San Jose areas.

William Dodson, D.D.S., F.A.C.P.

As the first cosmetic dentist in Salinas and Monterey to be trained as an implant specialist, Dr. Dodson remains dedicated to continuing education and has completed thousands of hours of training in both restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1975 and went on to complete training in prosthodontics at Wadsworth Hospital in Los Angeles. He subsequently trained in Hollywood, California with Dr. Charles Pincus, the famed ‘dentist to the stars’ and ‘father of cosmetic dentistry’ before practicing in Monterey.

Dr. Dodson has been a resident and cosmetic dentist in the Monterey peninsula for over 30 years. He has been married for 37 years and has two daughters and three grandchildren. Outside of his busy cosmetic dentistry practice in Monterey, Dr. Dodson enjoys outdoor sports such as hunting, fishing, boating, and jogging. His wife, Saundra, works with him as a treatment and financial coordinator.

Dr. Dodson has lectured and participated in clinics throughout the United States at local, state, and national meetings.
